Define
Problem, customer need, objective, scope, stakeholders and project charter.
David Madanga Consultants develops practical Six Sigma capability from foundation awareness to improvement leadership, with a structured progression through Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt.
DMAIC provides the common operating logic for the programme: define the performance gap, establish a factual baseline, validate the causes, implement targeted improvement and sustain the gain.
Problem, customer need, objective, scope, stakeholders and project charter.
Process understanding, data plan, operational definitions and baseline performance.
Stratification, Pareto, cause-and-effect, 5 Whys and validation of root causes.
Solution generation, risk review, pilots, implementation and performance comparison.
Standard work, KPIs, response plans, ownership, audits and sustainment.
The belt structure is designed to grow from DMAIC literacy to independent project execution and improvement leadership.

Build core DMAIC literacy, process thinking, problem definition, basic data interpretation and frontline improvement participation.

Develop the capability to execute structured improvement projects using evidence, analysis, implementation planning and control.

Lead complex improvement, govern benefits, guide analytical decision making and coach developing improvement practitioners.
Each belt is structured around learning, knowledge assessment and applied evidence. The Certificate of Competence is intended to recognise successful completion of the prescribed requirements for the relevant belt.
Develop the required DMAIC knowledge and tool understanding for the belt level.
Complete a structured case, workplace project or applied improvement portfolio.
Complete the prescribed assessment requirements before a credential is issued.

The programme is led by Lizile Xulu, an Industrial Engineer, Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Certified Six Sigma Coach with practical improvement experience across asset-intensive industries.
The course architecture connects structured problem solving with real operating environments, maintenance systems, process performance and continuous improvement.
